Concern for both patients and staff has the country’s urgent care professionals leaning heavily on their industry partners for support in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the growing of number of people requesting COVID-19 testing and care, Experity has released a COVID-19 Check-in Triage, and Texting Application to help clinics manage patient check-in from home or the clinic parking lot, facilitate communication with patients, and assess risk before a patient enters an urgent care center. The company is offering the app to urgent care operators at no charge for up to 90 days during this crisis.
Clinics that request the free app will receive a URL they can share with patients via their website, social media channels, emails to their customers, and on signs placed outside the clinic. The URL will direct low-risk patients to self-schedule, provide high-risk patients with the best next steps, and allow staff to appropriately put patients into the queue while eliminating as much exposure as possible.
Any urgent care center—Experity client or not—can request the free COVID-19 Check-in Triage, and Texting Application online starting today. If you have questions about how to utilize this application to manage the growing number of COVID-19 cases, please view the informational video first and contact Experity’s customer service team with any additional questions.
Asked about this free release, Experity CEO David Stern, MD stated, “We want to do everything we can to ensure that urgent care centers are given the tools needed to help identify patients at risk, protect themselves, and protect the public.”
